GIDA,International Food Products&Processing Technologies Exhibition (www.ite-gida.com)is the largest and most important organisation within Turkey and Eurasia for the varieties of food and beverage products. The exhibition is fully supported by Turkish Government, Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Federation of Food & Drink Industry Associaitons of Turkey and its members.
Having been attended by over 400 domestic and foreign companies , GIDA 2009 was visited by over 41.000 professionals. The fair captures a great deal of attention with international participants of 70 companies from The USA, Portugal, Malaysia, Kosovo, Syria, Iran, China, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Macedonia, India, The UAE, Korea and Croatia
The international flavour of GIDA,International Food Products and Processing Technologies Exhibition is the result of that historically the agricultural sector has been Turkey's largest employer and major contributor to the country's GDP, exports and industrial growth. The geographical location of Turkey presents the country a very advantageous situation in international trade. Turkey's proximity to Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Central Asia provides an easy access to large markets through the Black Sea to the North, the Aegean Sea to the West and the Mediterranean Sea to the South.
