Attendee Information
SIAL China 2011 reported a new record of 33,265 visitors who came to learn about the latest news and meet new contacts at the Asian Food Marketplace (an increase of 9% compared to 2010).
14% (4,657 visitors) of the visitors came from outside of China, mainly from Korea, Japan, Australia, and south-east of Asia.
48% of the visitors came from the Shanghai area and 38% came from the rest of China.

Exhibitor Information
SIAL China is also more international than ever with 1,520 exhibitors from all over the world coming in the three-day business sourcing. Gathering 76 countries and regions, SIAL China fulfilled once again with an outstanding grade its commitment to internationalization.
The Chinese participation increased again with numerous Chinese professional associations who organized pavilions to enlarge business trade such as China Dairy Industry Association, China Canned Food industry Association and Foreign Economic Cooperation Center, Ministry of Agriculture PRC. 28 Chinese provinces and municipalities were represented on the show this year, with a strong participation of Shandong province, Zhejiang province, Shanghai municipality.
8 national zones have been dedicated to specific products such as Dairy, Sweets & Snacks, Wine & Spirits, Beverage, Coffee & Tea, Condiments & Food Ingredients, Frozen Food, Healthy Food.
