Featuring a Trade Hall and a Public Hall, the expo serves a wide variety of quality food products from all over the world including bakery products, beverages, snacks, processed food, instant food, fruits & vegetables, green & organic food, kitchenware, seasonings and seafood and provides numerous business opportunities to buyers and spoiling public visitors with mouth-watering delicacies.
The Trade Hall drew close to 21,000 trade buyers coming from 62 countries and regions, an increase of 1% from last year, eager to meet with new suppliers and source quality products. Among them, more than 70 buying missions from over 20 countries and regions were organised. The top ten foreign visiting countries and regions included the Chinese mainland, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Iran, Malaysia, Indonesia and the USA.
?The 2016 HKTDC Food Expo featured 1,391 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions with first time participation of the Latin America pavilion as well as individual companies from Croatia, Finland and Iceland
