Since being established by KOTRA in 1983, SEOUL FOOD exhibitions have played host to hundreds of thousands of visitors and industry professionals as Asia's leading food event. SEOUL FOOD & HOTEL 2007 attracted 39,382 visitors, 371 domestic and 404 foreign exhibitors from 31 countries. KOTRA jointly organized the 2007 event, Seoul Food & Hotel, with Great Britain's Allworld Exhibitions, a member of the Global Professional Exhibition Group.

From 14 to 17 May 2008, Seoul Food & Hotel will be a magnet for both well-established fixtures in the food industry who have participated in the exhibition for more than 20 years as well as for newly emerging companies who are sure to bring with them the latest innovations in the food industry.

This year as a way of adding value, enhancing the specialization of this exhibition, and raising the overall quality of Seoul Food & Hotel 2007, SEOUL FOODTECH 2008, a new food technology exhibition and SEOUL FOOD SAFETY 2008, a new professional exhibition related to food safety, will take place concurrently with Seoul Food & Hotel 2008.
