BioFach will soon be 20 years and is still growing and thriving much to the joy of the industry! The event beat its own record again in 2008 with 2,764 exhibitors and some 46,500 trade visitors from 124 countries, which gives it every reason to celebrate. After all, market experts from Organic Monitor and IFOAM are agreed: Organic food worth more than 40 billion US dollars was traded worldwide in 2007.
The anniversary year also focuses on successful ideas, trends and new products – for organic food in certified quality, natural personal care and other natural products. The Country of the Year in 2009 is Denmark.
