The 7th International Hospitality Equipment&Supplies Fair,GuangZhou

The 21st century witnesses the rapid economic growth of China. With GDP growth exceeding 10% in successive five years, China becomes the fourth largest economy and the hottest area for hotel investment and development in the world.
- The investment and development of the hotel industry was greatly improved by the 132 million incoming passengers and 1.6 billion domestic tourists in 2007.
- A series of international events such as 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games and 2011 Shenzhen Universidads, etc. bring upsurge in hotel industry investment, and thus the internationalization requirements for upgrading the hotel products and meeting the need of segment market are put forward.
- Estimated by the authorities, the purchase of the hotel products will reach 600 billion yuan in 2008 in China and Guangdong's trade volume accounts for 1/3. Till 2015, China will become the largest tourist destination in the world, which will bring huge market demand for hotel industry.
- Guangdong Province owns the largest hotel industry in China, 8,000 residential institutions including restaurants, hotels and hostels, 1,275 star hotels, 346,130 rooms and 602,099 beds. What's more, these numbers are still increasing, which means a strong consumptive power.
Meanwhile Pearl River Delta is the largest production base of hotel products in China with more than 1/3 of China's hotel product suppliers. Guangzhou owns the most mature and largest-scale hotel product market, and also is the largest distributing center of the hotel products.
