General Information
Batam Fisheries and Seafood Expo 2009 is the first international fishery expo in Batam which will last for four days. The expo will directly offers investment opportunities in fishery sectors in various region in Indonesia, various fishery products of domestic as well as export market oriented, as well as fishery technology to domestic as well as foreign investors, buyers and fishery societies. It is expected that at least 60 participants will participate in the expo, consisting of institutions from The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of RI, Regional Office for Marine and Fishery Affairs of Provinces, Regencies and Cities, domestic and foreign producers of fishery products and technology and other fishery-related institutions.
During the expo, the organizer also provides opportunities for participants to make presentation of their products and latest technology in fishery field in form of seminars or workshops to the visitors of the expo. In addition, the organizer also will organize seminar for participants of the expo.

Visitors of the expo are professionals, government executives of central and regional governments in Indonesia, domestic as well as foreign suppliers, distributors, buyers and investors.
