Coca-Cola Enters Sugar-Free Beverage Market In Guangdong

Coca-Cola has announced plans to launch its new sugar-free beverage, "Coca-Cola Zero", in the Guangdong market.

The black packaging of "Coca-Cola Zero" will bring new choice for Guangdong's customers. This new type of Coca-Cola beverage was sold in convenience stores in Guangzhou early in January 2008 and it will now be sold throughout traditional channels such as big marts, supermarkets and convenience stores in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan and Zhuhai.

"Coca-Cola Zero" is a new member of the more than 50 beverage products that Coca-Cola has launched in China. It is not only the company's first important product in 2008, but also a centerpiece of its global distribution in recent years. With the special features of "sugar-free, still Coca-Cola", "Coca-Cola Zero" will certainly set off another new wave in China beverage market, especially in sugar-free beverage market.

"Coca-Cola Zero" has already entered the markets of more than 50 countries and regions in European, America and Asia. In March 2007, "Coca-Cola Zero" entered Hong Kong.
