The value of Hungary's wine exports increased by 2.95 percent in 2007 while the quantity fell 8.2 percent, business daily Vilaggazdasag said on Tuesday.
Citing Magyar Bormarketing's analysis of Hungary's 2007 wine trade, the paper said that the average export price of the country's wines had increased by 11.5 percent in 2007, standing at 0.96 euros per liter.
Hungary exported 684,000 hectoliters of wine in 2007, to a total value of 67.4 million euros, up 2.93 percent from 2006.
The register of the top importers of Hungary's wines was unchanged in 2007 from 2006, with Germany at the top of the list, followed by the Czech Republic and Great Britain.
