China's wine imports increased dramatically in the first quarter

According to the latest statistics from China Customs, China's wine imports were 43.49 thousand liters in the first quarter, down 4.9% comparing with the same period of last year, but the imported average price reduced sharply. The average price was 2.1 dollars/liter, up 71%. In March, the imports were 15.44 thousand liter, down 11.1% comparing with the same period. It fluctuated distinctly. Although the imported price reduced (1.8 dollars/liter), it still increased 61.3% comparing with the same period. According to the Customs' statistics, China's wine imports fluctuated within the normal range.
