New Orleans, which is located in the south part of America and to the Gulf of Mexico, is the biggest city of Louisiana State and the second largest port city behind New York. On the day of 29th of June 2008, the service staffs of 21 Food come to the beautiful and so called "Southern Queen City"-New Orleans-to attend the American "IFT Food Expo 2008" which is hold by Ernest N. Morial Exhibition Center. The expo lasts from June 29th to July 1st.

The host of the expo, which is annually held in different cities of America by turns, is the Institute of Food Technologists. Nowadays it has been the biggest and the most famous pageant and significant event of food additives, where the lay out items mainly include food additives and food ingredients and it also covers the fields of food industry technology such as the food technology, the food safety and security detection, the food research and development technology transfer, etc.
