Tuesday, July 22-Food Ingredients (FI) India, a part of the world leading informex series of food ingredients trade shows, is all set to draw an increased response this year. The exhibition will take place on 3rd and 4th October at Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, the trade hub of the country.
An economic growth of 8 per cent per annum and increasingly prosperous consumers, India is a market with enormous potential.
The exhibition would be an ideal platform for the international and the national traders to exhibit their products, exchange trade ideas and meet Indian consumers.

FI India 2008 will mainly exhibit the companies that cultivate, extract, process or supply food & beverage ingredients and also the companies supplying health, nutraceuticals, organic or functional ingredients and natural ingredients. Mathews added, "We met customers from all over India and overseas with excellent results and we are looking forward to exhibit at FI India 2008"
Organisers are expecting manufacturers, producers and retailers of foods, beverages & supplements, professionals involved in food packaging, safety, quality & services, consultants, researchers & food technologists to visit the exhibition.
The FI India conference will have Indian and international speakers sharing their knack on worldwide issues affecting the food ingredients industry.
