Face global food buyers in SIAL France 2008

[21Food Reports] The five-day SIAL Paris 2008, 21Food received numerous international buyers, of which there are a number of world famous corporations- Carrefour, Metro, Unilever, etc. They all appear at 21Food booth, leaving purchasing requirement to us. Let's share these successful matching stories.


Global Buyer I

Mr. PARMJIT BHOGAL, the general manager of PAM EXOTC IMPORTERS & DISTRIBUTORS EXOTIC FOODS, has been the Global Buyer in 21Food for a long time. We have met in several international trade shows for many times and so even have got acquaintance with each other. At the second day of Sial France, he comes to our booth with a plastic bag in his hand intentionally with excitement, saying: "I knew that you must be here this time. Anya, please help me to find this food product, which we ever imported in 2005, and now our customers need them again. However, I can not contact with that company any longer. I have tried to search in 21Food, but I can still not find the suitable one. Please help me to find companies with this product after come back, if you find it please tell me immediately as our customers need them urgently." Seen from the company name of Mr. PARMJIT BHOGAL, it is obvious to know that they are mainly about the importation of exotic snack foods from all over the world. We can see from his plastic bag that the product he needs is " Sweet Tamarind ". He takes along the latest suppliers directory when leaving, emphasizing that we can inform him immediately once finding this kind of company and also introduce to him some other good exotic food products.


Global Buyer II
The manager of import department of Carrefour, Mr. Kamal Berriche, happens to meet us there. He says to us that once one of his friends in Gulfood trade show met us and showed him a Chinese Food Suppliers directory after coming back, and he found it is so informative and valuable for the global buyers. But he felt so pity that he didn't meet us at that time. So when he meets us this time, he is so surprised and happy. He says, "I can still remember the orange color logo in that directory. Now the friend of mine must have been the member of global buyer in 21Food, and now me too. The resource in 21Food is abundance, and many new Chinese Suppliers are contacting with us now. I'm very satisfied with 21Food! This time I will take along some documents for my friend as well." Mr. Kamal Berriche is in charge of fresh foods purchasing in Arabic region, for example, fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, fish and so on . We give two sets of documents to him and his friend. Besides, we also present him some more additional CD-ROMs, and he can share to other purchasing colleagues in Carrefour.


Global Buyer III
Trying hard to find the matched buyers for our members is also our focus in trade show. Zhejiang ZITIC Import & Export Co., Ltd. is our old customer, and the main products are fruit wines which are not in such a large demand in various trade shows compared with other bulk importation products of China. Just this time, we come across one buyer, Mr.Momchil Avramov, the CEO of MART in Bulgaria. When asked what product he is buying, he says "Wine". So when we turn to the advertising page with wines of Zhejiang ZITIC Import & Export Co., Ltd., he is so surprised, saying, "Wine, good!" Then we know that he specially comes to China Pavilion exhibition area in order to find wines, and he had not discovered any companies with this fruit wine before meeting us. So in front of our camera, he takes this picture with this page of wines in his hands. He leaves along with the information of his wine supplier.




Global Buyer IV
Mr.Marko Wiese comes from MERSCHBROCK-Wiese GmbH of Germany. He visits our booth at the second day of Sial. When we introduce 21Food to him, he says that he has registered as our member for long time. Their company mainly trade in spices & seasonings field, so he often purchases some raw spices materials. While China has ample supply of this category of products, so he searches and finds our website. He tells us that he has found several good suppliers through 21Food, so he is very excited and happy when meeting us at Sial. He sees our directory for the first time there, and he asks the difference between this one with the data in website, then we explain to him that the information in this directory is from our VIP members whose validity is confirmed, so the buyers can be reassured with the trade. He expresses his appreciation for us.

Global Buyer V
Mr. Robert Allen is the leader of PURVEYORS OF FINE & ORIENTAL FOODS and one of bulk importers of England as well. He imports quantity of foods annually. Beans, chilli, dried shitake are the main importation products in the biggest quantity for England. We are in great enjoyment because so many companies in our website can provide these products.
His buying list is: soy beans, chilli, dried shitake, dried fruits, dried vegetables, dried fish, frozen fruits, frozen vegetables, frozen fish.

Golbal Buyers VI

In terms of comprehensive analysis of buyers' info, a lot of them are in urgent requirement, and also their demands are changing from time to time. So, 21food specially takes a poster of screenshot about 21food homepage to the fair and hang on the striking position to catchs more buyers' eyes.

Mr.Martijn de Heer from Unilever Netherlands Product Supply Department happens to pass by our booth at last day of the tradeshow. He is coming for sourcing instant food like instant noodle. We really gratified to receive such high quality big buyer at the end of the show. Some large-scale exhibition like Sial France totally exhibited 5 days, unlike other exhibitions, even though in last 2 days, there are still plenty of buyers visite. As the big-scale of the show, it's a great test of physically and spiritually to a buyer to visit all the booth. So, 21food stuff stick to their post to catch more valuable buyers.

Golbal Buyers VIII

Mr.Joseph Aour (CEO) from Amine Aour-Middlle East Foods S.A.L in Lebanon. Among our global buyers, he purchases most Chinese food. He sources 400 more food items, including Agriculture products, canned foods, freeze-dried food, bean products, milk powder, tomato paste, etc. We hope our VIP members can join his suppliers list.


Golbal Buyers XI

Mr.Rudi de Deugd is the purchase manager of Global F&B Purchase. His company is a big food distributor in Europe. When he takes over our Chinese Food Supplier and relevant CD-Roms, he said "Great! These just what i need. so I can save time on visit every Chinese booth."
