General Mills is partnering with a celebrity chef to sell frozen pasta dinners.
Minneapolis, Minnesota-based General Mills Inc. and celebrity chef Mario Batali have teamed up to sell two frozen pasta dinners, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
Batali is a top chef with several high-end restaurants in New York and a Food Network show.
The dinners would, according to the article, be sold at warehouse stores Costco, Sam's Club and BJ's Wholesale Club Inc.
The first two offerings include gemelli and meatballs, and orecchiette with sweet Italian sausage and broccoli. The meals are portioned to serve five and will sell for about $10.99.
