the geoduck panopea abrupta is found
between alaska and baja california, mexico. it is known as elephant
clam or szechuan geoduck in china. the geoduck panopea
globosa is found in the pacific ocean in the south of baja
california, mexico and in the gulf or sea of cortez. it is known as
water clam or atlantic in china. product from these areas are
shipped to our ensenada's recovery and packing facility with
specialty tanks for storage. after product is recovered and
stronger, it is packed into styrofoam cases with sponges and ice
packs. then is shipped via ground to los angeles, ca. lax airport
by truck, where it gets flown to asia to its final destination
arriving within 36 hours after leaving ensenada. the packaging gets
done meticulously to reduce the mortality rate of our products and
to assure our customer satisfaction.
