Property: White powder, melting point: 60oC, soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, it is dehydrated into anhydrous compound when being heated to 95oC. Under the temperature of 190-204oC, transformed into sodium acid pyrophosphate, then condensation polymerize into sodium metaphosphate under the temperature of 204-244oC.
