Prepared from Bartlett pears which sound and healthy pears cultivated under Good Agricultural Practices. Fruits are peeled, pitted, cut into halves, packed in light syrup made from sucrose only and processed by heat in hermetically sealed containers to attain commercial sterility.
Reasonably bright, but equal to or better than a typical light yellow-white or light greenish-white.
Characteristic of ripened pears; no oxidized, bitter, fermented or other off flavors or odors.
