Xiamen East Ocean Fishery Imp. and Exp. Co., Ltd. was established by Mr. Zhang Yurong, an very experienced businessman in the field of aquatic products manufacturing, in 1997. Our company specializes in the production and sale of various aquatic products.
In the first 5 years from 1997 to 2002, Mr. Zhang ran the business so well that he invested about USD500,000 to build up a plant which mainly produces octopus products in 2003. Our plant covers an area of more than 8,700 square meters and has 1,000MT freeze capacity and 20MT/2h quick freezing speed. We carry out germfree techniques in every workshop, aisle, channel and platform to ensure sanitary standard. We also adopt internationally advanced cold storage techniques and facilities for the comprehensive production procedures. Meanwhile, we use central air conditioning systems, central temperature control recording system, central odor disinfection system and central supervision system to ensure product quality.
Furthermore, we introduced octopus processing technology from Japan which has been successfully implemented in Japan for more than 60 years. Based on this technology, our products are strictly processed according to HACCP, TQC and ISO9000 quality standards and conform to the sanitary requests of China, the USA, Japan and EU countries.
Currently, our main products include octopus products like sliced octopus (for sashimi, takoyaki, salad and sushi) and cut octopus (for sashimi and karragge). By the end of 2004, we have exported more than 1,000MT of octopus products to Japan. Our total export volume stands at USD6,500,000. Through strict inspections conducted by both parties from China and Japan and the official institution, our products reached a high quality standard for every index and we never received any complaints from customers. |
