Gum Arabic: Grade 1 (Acacia Senegal) & Gum Arabic: Grade 2 and 3 (Acacia seyal) :
They are produced in the Savannah / Arid Zone of Nigeria.
These two types of Gum Arabic: Acacia Senegalese variety (from which you get Grade 1) and Acacia seyel (from which you get Grade 2) are grown in Nigeria,
They are characterized by Negative optical rotation, and Positive optical rotation respectively.
Gum Arabic is mainly used in the
Food processing industry, Pharmaceutical industry, as well as preservatives for Food and Drinks; it is also used in ink making and as Stabilizers.
