As to the price as it is new ground then we have to look at what you can live with. The factory needs a minimum of USD$20.00 per KG but in the interest of getting this business of the ground, and to enable you and your potential clients can see what we have to offer and to at least cover costs the sample is a nominal fee of $15.00 per KG. We would be not so bright if we thought there would be 0 % mortality so we are running with mortality which is in line with live lobsters, no discount for anything under 5 % and there after discounted 50%.
Weight loss under 3% standard once the critters are back in the water they will pick it up this %, anything above 3% 100% refund CIF value.
Graded 500- 1 Kg 1-2 KG and 2 Kg Plus (note they do grow up to 4 KG)
Payment TT up front prior to shipment
Please we will require, with every shipment a full Arrival Report including Weight, General Condition, Temperature, any damage to poly boxes and mortality. Without a full Arrival report, any claims will not be accepted. Reports must be faxed on the day of arrival.
A full flight LD3 containers around 700 kg per shipment, can you see yourself handling this amount per shipment or per week.
As shipping live by air is new business out of Whales UK, we really need to get it right, please bear with us the initial period as we train the airlines things will be a bit slow but all parties have a wealth of experience and we are committed to making this a huge success.
