Dear Sir or Madam,
we are writing to enquire whether there is any possiblility of co-operation with your company. Let us introduce ourselves first: We are a winery based in Naousa, Greece, specialising in producing and manufacturing high quality red, rose and white wines from the "xinomavro" variety of grapes, which resembles Bordeaux, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Chianti and pinot noir.
Further, the range of our wines includes red dry, semi-sweet, demi-sec and sec wines plus wines of the Syrah and Merlot varieties. All our grapes are grown in vineyards located across the controlled region of Naousa; hence, our wines belong to the VQPRD (Vin de Qualite Produit dans une Region Determinee) category.
One of our most popular products, the red dry one is produced in the classical way of vinification and has a deep, ruby-red, lucid colour, characteristic bouquet of ripe tomato and olive, and leaves a chewy, tannic palate.
We also keep in stock 2,000 bottles of red reserve wine, which have been aged since 1984 having matured in oak barrels for at least a year. The warehouse facility is an underground cellar with a constant temperature of 15 degrees Celsius, and 70% humidity, absolute darkness and silence. Bottles, labels and stamps from inspectors carry the dates. Wine critics who have inspected the bottles have certified the wine, and assured that it is in excellent condition.
We already export our wines to the most important wine-consuming countries, such as France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Ghana, Sweden, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Spain, the United States, Canada, and Cyprus.
Last but not least, we seek to export "ouzo" and "tsipouro", these two famous Greek beverages, too. Kindly note that potential customers are given the opportunity of receiving samples of our drinks at a cost price plus postage and packing. Finally, it would be a pleasure for us to receive you here in our winery, where we can taste the wines together in our purpose-built tasting room.
