Ariake was established in the late 1960's in Japan. Over the years Ariake grew to become the largest provider of stocks, bouillons, and natural meat flavorings in Japan. Today, Ariake serves nearly 40% of the Japanese market.

Since the company was established, it has expanded into several other countries through exportation and also by building plants in other countries. Currently, the company has plants in China, Japan, and the United States. In the fall of 2005 ground will be broken on two more plants, one in France and one in Belgium.
Ariake U.S.A., Inc. was established in 1985 and a state-of-the- art plant was later built in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This site was chosen for its close proximity to quality raw materials and convenient location near Norfolk, Virginia, a major shipping port.
Ariake is one of the largest producers of stocks and bases in the world. We offer a diverse selection of meat, poultry, seafood, and vegetable products. Our stocks are made through the natural reduction of bones. We use commercial scale "stock pots" to create our products so that they are comparable to versions created by a chef using classical culinary practices. All of the products made by Ariake exceed USDA standards to ensure that the products you buy are safe, and of the highest quality. |
