Originally we were incorporated as Shemberg USA, the independent marketing arm of one of the world's leading carrageenan producers, Shemberg Corporation. We were founded with a simple philosophy and business strategy: offer the customer a more cost-effective carrageenan, consistent quality assurance, and technical support for their particular application. While our name has changed, our approach hasn't, and today we are the largest independent carrageenan supplier world- wide.
ISITM has incorporated that same philosophy in our marketing strategy for xanthan gum and alginates.

Our carrageenans include grades from all three of the major refining methods assuring customers of the best performing, most cost-effective carrageenans available.
Alginates provide truly unique heat-stable gelling properties and are available in both medium and high viscosity grades.
Xanthan gum is available in 200-, 80-, 40 mesh and cosmetic grades. We produce an agglomerated-dust free xanthan gum, Quik-XanTM, for easier dispersion and quicker hydration. |
