Orkay Foods is located in Malatya Turkey which is home to the world's finest
Turkish Dried Sulphured Apricots.
Orkay Foods is situated on 25,000 Square meters of land of which 8,000
Square meters are enclosed work areas which have been constructed according
to AFI and EU food safety standards. ORKAY has also purchased all the latest
and up-to date machinery in order to provide all our customers with the
cleanest and safest product possible.
All departments at Orkay are separated in order to reduce any chances of
cross-contamination and we are equipped with waterless hand wash stations
apon entering the facility as well as random hand wash stations through the
factory .
In order to ensure total safety and proper hygienic working conditions ORKAY
has went to the next level with apoxy flooring through out the factory as
well as Anti-Bacterial tiled walls,all machinery at Orkay is constructed of
chrome to ensure Total Cleanliness and easy cleaning.
ORKAY is ISO 9000-2001 & ISO 22000 certified and also holds Kosher and
Passover certification through Star-K.
After Investing hundreds of thousands of dollars on the foundation of a food
facility ORKAY has also begun to Invest on personell to oversee all
operations through out the facility.
Currently we employ a very professional chemist who performs many different types of analysis in our modern Laboratory from basic physical analysis to So2 content testing and moisture testing.we have chosen a chemist instead of a food engineer because of the high demand for microbiological testing from our customers and plan on being the first firm with an in house microbiological laboratory in Malatya Turkey.
