Liffey Meats was established in 1911 as a family business and is based in Ballyjamesduff since 1986, and is regarded today as one of the most modern and progressive companies in the Irish meat industry and employs today 320 people.
Situated in the centre of Ireland's finest grasslands, a consistent all year round supply of quality cattle is available to us and we have ever since built up a formidable supplier base for farm quality assured cattle which guarantees complete traceability at all stages of production for our customers.
Liffey Meats slaughters 120,000 cattle per year and debones 115,000 of these. We produce all types and specifications of boneless beef both in retail and foodservice format as well as convenience foods.
3 separate boning halls ensure all production is carefully monitored and tailored to our customer's requirements.
The refrigeration cycle is never interrupted from the beginning of the meat process to the final delivery to the retail outlet. Our coldstores have a storage capacity up to 4000 MT. |
