The history of Sofra Goup goes back to the early 1930's. During our history, following basic ethical principles we've gained the trust of our business partners and have grown consistently.
In 1980's the production and wholesale of bakery products became our main field of business. During the following years we've strengthened our production line and became the biggest producer of bakery products in Turkey. We've 3 production facilities established on 30.000 m2 area.
We have 2 plants to produce basic bakery raw materials such as bakery additives, cold glazing jellies, dried nuts, whipping powder, canned fruit, fruit desserts, marmalades etc. Besides these plants, we have an olive oil factory established with the state of art technology in Edremit, where the best olive is harvested.
Our products are submitted to the market with two leading trademarks: Sante and Meykon. All kinds of dried nuts, cold jellies, pastry additives, whipping powder, olive oil and other olive products are produced with trademark "Sante". The canned fruits, marmalades and fruit desserts groups are produced wit the trademark "Meykon". |
