Founded in Feb.1993, Xishuangbanna Xigu Industrial Company ltd. Is a private-run enterprise specialized in tropical cash crops. Designated by both the provincial and prefecture governments as one of the pilot projects for development of famous-special-excellent-rare products, with the financial support of governments of different levels and over a period of ten years, this company has so far reclaimed a wasteland of 6,600 mu on which 22,000 fruit trees have been planted including gold mangos, coconut mangos, Longan, lychee and grapefruit.
