Founded in 1952 by Francois Guinchard, La Fermiere is now located in Aubagne (South of France) where we've got our new factory, warehouse and office. We've also got a warehouse in Rungis (South of Paris)
Since the beginning, La Fermière is dedicated to high-quality yogurt production and we work now with our own research and development laboratory. The local trade has been extended to the domestic market with entry into hypermarkets in the 70's. For the last 4 years, we've been exporting all around the world.
Our range offers various flavours and packaging (carton, glass, plastic, terra-cotta). We make our yogurts in an original and traditional way :
The best ingredients : whole milk from French Alps (no powder), use of natural and quality ingredients (natural vanilla pods, lemon zest, untreated juice, honey, no preservatives, no colouring agents, no use of chemical catalysts to accelerate fermentation)
The best packaging : authenticity of our yogurts packaged in terra-cotta pots, easy differentiation from competitors, better content protection (temperature, light), reuse of the pots for cooking, arts and crafts, adornment, ...
La Fermière also produces cream desserts, fresh cheese and dairy products. Most of our labels have English translation.
