The ANKOMRFGas Production System provides an easy to use
method for monitoring gas production. The system consists of
sample jars, RF pressure sensor modules, computer interface
receiver/contributor and operational software that can be used with any PC using a Windows XP or Vista based operating system. Samples and microbial inoculum are placed in jars, the RF sensor module is attached and the jar placed in an incubator. The pressure of each jar can be measured at any time interval. The system also allows the user to program pressure release points for each jar if desired. Pressure measurements are recorded on a standard Excel spreadsheet and gas production curves can be generated.
