Quality characteristics

. Flandria mushrooms are firm and fresh and have the characteristic colour of the
variety.
. They are free of abnormal moisture.
. They do not have a film or scales.
. They are free of strange odours and flavours.



Storage life

Mushrooms are chilled at a temperature between 1 and 2??C.
The product is sensitive to moisture and drops of water.



Grades

. Mushrooms are graded on the basis of:
- quality
- diameter (maximum diameter of the cap).
. Grade "fine": size from 20 to 45 mm packed in punnets of 250 g.
. Grade "medium": size from 35 to 60 mm packed in punnets of 500 g.
. Grade "giant": size from 55 to 110 mm packed loose or in punnets of 500 g.
