Berries taste good during the summer and are an important source of vitamins ?above all vitamin C.

Red and white currants: white currants taste a little sweeter than the red ones. Both can be used raw in fruit salads, yoghurt and milkshakes.
White and redcurrants are graded by appearance, freshness and length of the bunches.

In view of the number varieties, currants with the same colour and shape will be put together. A difference is made between pale and dark coloured varieties. The pale ones are given the code LK, the dark ones DK, in addition to the quality grade.
