Quality characteristics
- Flandria aubergines are very good quality.
- The colour is purple and the fruit is shiny.
- Their shape is regular and they are not burned by the sun.
- The fruit is well developed (correct harvest time).
- The calyx is intact and the short stem is cut off level.
- The fruit is firm.

Storage life

Aubergines are best kept at 15 with a relative humidity of 90 to 95%.
Do not keep them together with fruit that produce ethylene such as tomatoes, apples, bananas and citrus fruit. Cover to prevent dehydration.
