Scandic Food Sp. z o.o. (Ltd.) is a major producer and exporter of frozen fruits and vegetables.

The freezing capacity equals 4.700 tons and 2.500 tons respectively. Throughout the season we are capable of producing approx. 12.000 - 14.000 tons of frozen fruits and vegetables.

We specialize in the production of frozen fruits such as: strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant, gooseberry, blackberry, blueberry, cherry, plum, elderberry and rhubarb; and vegetables such as: cauliflower, cut green beans, cut onions, carrot, celery, leek, parsley, parsnip, Brussels sprouts and broccoli.

Our cold stores made of polyurethane panels according to a new technology are very well equipped, with cooling tunnels of the company Justus, Frigoscandia, Gryf.

Freezer machines are equipped with computer controlled screw compressors. We have an onion and carrot production line with the Urshell slicing machine which allows us to produce both vegetables in frozen dices of 6x6mm, 10x10mm, 12x12mm, as well as sliced.

Our cold stores are also equipped with laser equipment for sorting and metal detectors which allows us to produce goods of a very high quality.
Frozen fruits and vegetables are traditionally produced by us in bags and cartons, as well as in retail packages and for catering. Our packing machines allow us to pack fruits and vegetables in printed foil bags from 350g to 2,5kg under our own or customer brands.

Our retail packages have a unique graphic design and descriptions in four languages: Danish, Polish, English and Russian.

The majority of our production is exported to Germany, France, England, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Russia.
