Melas-Asclepieion Olive Oil Industry specializes in producing, packaging and marketing products of biological agriculture and producing the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Product of Organic Farming-"Melas".
The olive oil is produced by the most prestigious varieties of olive trees of Peloponese, under highly controlled conditions, according to the European Union regulation (doc. 2092/91 of the EEC).
The region's soil conditions are excellent (sandy-clay-loam-SCL type) and organic fertilizing, olive trees' disease fighting as well as the procedure of the upgraded olive fruit, being succored by cold pressing at the mill and stored in stainless tanks, are integral parts of the oil's production.
All these methods ensure the production of a high quality product, with excellent taste and flavor, preserving all the valuable ingredients of olives' natural juices.
The product is packed in high protection, in MARASKA 500ml and 750 ml UVAG glass bottles [brown-green color], with controlled flow cap and safety rings. The packaging bears two self-adhesive labels, containing all the necessary information that defines the product as well as the accreditation Body's sign.
The product is certified by "BIO HELLAS s.a" (Organic product certification institute ) CODE No: 360065
All shipments are accompanied by a Control Certificate of the certification organization.
All labels are printed in English, French and German.
The final product is packaged in cartons and placed on to wooden crates [pallets].
