Physicochemical Properties: white monoclinic system crystal，Specific Density: 1.72，Melting Point: 73??C，dehydrate at 75??C，decompose into basic salt at 135??C and completely decompose into aluminum oxide and nitrogen gas above 500??C. It is easily dissolved in water, methanol, ethanol and glycerol but not in pyridine. It exhibits hygroscopic property.
Applications and Usages: It is mainly applied to manufacture catalyst used in organic synthesis, dye mordant in textile industry, tanning agent for leathers, inhibitor for anticorrosion, anti-sweat agent, and salting out agent used in recycling nuclear fuel though solvent extraction process.
