Southeast Asia Fresh water shark was introduced to our plant in 1998. It got success in artificial breeding in July of 2001. This fish is a kind of tropical fish, live in the temperature of 20-38, the critical temperature is 15 . It is carnivorous and omnivorous fish, has big appetite, can take fodder. Its abilities to resist low oxygen, diseases and adapt to environmental are fine. It grows rapidly, every year increases weight of about 2kg. The biggest is more than 30 kg. It has no squama, few fish bone, no sting among muscle. The meat-producing rate is up to 50%, and the meat is delicate, delicious, and nutritious.
