Due to the decease of founder Marcel Vandenberghe, mrs en mr. Eric Dobbels have taken over the business in the year 1964. In 1958, Marcel Vandenberghe had the bright idea of cooking or smoking hams for his collegue-butchers. Therefore, not all the butchers in the nearby area had to invest in such a big capital demanding machines.
Several times the buildings were extended. Beginning from 400 m2 to now up to 3.000 m2. Since 1991 we have raised the capital in order to change the structure into an "anonymus partnership". We are still a family firm where the attention for quality and flexibility prime! In January 2005, their daughter, Sophie, is continuing the business.
