1928. Antonios N. Skoyrtopoylos begins the production of salted fish in privately-owned factory at Oreous of Evia.
1937. He places in operation a second factory in Ag.Nikolaos of Aidipsos in which he produces tuna fish in olive oil of exceptional quality.
1946. The enterprise moves to Volos where the production of salted fish is continued.
1960. Antonios N. Skourtopoulos retires and A.Skourtopoulos & Son is founded, having Andorniki and Nanos Skourtopoulos, wife and son of Antonios, as its members. Production shifts to salted preserves.
1971. The activity of the company is extended in the production of tins of sardines in 4 flavors with big success while almost the total of the production is exported in Germany.
1993. The company joins a functional program of the ministry of Agriculture for relocation and modernisation..
1995. The factory and the headquarters of the company move into modern, privately-owned building installations of 3.000 square meters in the 2nd Industrial Region of Volos.
1998. The company is changed in S.A. having the name "VIALCO - SKOYRTOPOYLOS S.A" and continues up to today its activity with the production of various tins of sardines and anchovies as well as salted fishes of exceptional quality.
