Nutmeg is a large evergreen tree, native to Banda Island in McLucas of Indonesia. This tree is important for two spices derived from the Fruit Nutmeg and Mace. Nutmeg is the seed of the tree, which is hard and brown in colour, roughly edged shaped, waiting between 5-9 grams. It has a warm, spicy sweet flavor mace is dried lacy membrane from around the nutmeg seed. The first blossom of nutmeg takes place 7-9 year after planting but reach to full potential after 20 years.
