Black tea is fully fermented tea. Black tea  contents lower polyphenol and higher caffeine than green tea. Green tea has the highest polyphenol content while black tea has roughly 2 - 3 times the caffeine content of green tea.

Plain black tea without sweeteners or additives contains negligible quantities of calories, protein, sodium, and fat. Some flavored tea with different herbs added may have less than 1 gram of carbohydrates. All teas from the camellia tea plant are rich in polyphenols, which are a type of antioxidant.

Note:

Drinking a moderate amount of black tea (one to four cups a day) may boost blood pressure slightly, but the effect does not last long. And drinking this amount of black tea is not associated with long-term high blood pressure.

Jinjunmei is made of tea bud tips which are picked before Lomb-sweeping Day from a   rare and primitive special of wild tea which grow on mountains, in the National Natural Conservation Area of Wuyi Mountain, with an altitude of 1500 to 1800 meters.

CTC  means  Crush, Tear, and Curl  (also  Cut, Twist, Curl ), is a method of processing black  tea , similar to that of  orthodox tea manufacture . Instead of the leaves being rolled as a final stage, they are passed through a series of cylindrical rollers with hundreds of small sharp "teeth" that crush, tear, and curl the tea.

CTC is well suited for  Tea bags , as the product quickly gives a dark brew.
