Ankake yakisoba is trendy in Otaru, Hokkaido. (“Ankake” means starchy sauce.) You can easily make ankake yakisoba with this product. Ingredients are ginger, garlic, some other spices and dried bonito soup stocks. It c an be used for various dishes as background flavor.
Instructions: (Serve 4)
1, Stir fry cooked noodles until browned and place into four bowls.
2, Stir fry ingredients in a wok.
3, Mix 40ml of Chuka ankake no moto (E-723) and 200ml of water. (DO NOT USE HOT WATER)
4. Put diluted soup into the wok.
5. Heat until the soup has thickened.
6. Pour the soup over noodles in each bowl.

♦ How to make soup "Ankake sauce (E-723)"
Pour the Chuka ankake no moto (E-723) into a stainless steel container.
2. Pour 40 g of the sauce into a bowl.
3. Pour 200 ml of water into the bowl.
4. Mix it well.
* The soup won't thicken if you use hot water.
5. Prepare ingredients such as c hinese cabbage, carrot, bamboo shoot, Kikurage (Cloud ear mushroom) , and pork. P repare steamed noodle s .
6. Put the steamed noodle s into a heated wok, and stir fry until browned both side s, then remove them into a dish.
7. Put the ingredients into the wok, and stir fry well.
8. Pour the diluted sauce into the wok.
9. Heat till thickened.
10-11. Put the “An” (thick sauce) on the noodles.
12. Add MUSTARD or Vinegar as you like.
