Product Description

Appellation: Barbera Superiore D.O.C.
Grape: 100% Barbera.
Vinification technique: Traditional, followed by 6 months ageing in 25 hl Slovenian oak barrels.
Description: Brilliant ruby red that veers to burgundy with ageing. Bouquet: intense, strong fruity aroma that recalls the fragrance of plum and blackberry and a hint of spice. Flavour: full-bodied and enveloping, its slightly acid flav our does not upset the well-structured balance. Dry, fresh and fragrant, this wine lingers on the palate with traces of plum, blackberry and cherry.
Serve at a temperature of : 16 °C
Recommended serving: Excellent mealtime wine, especially suited to entrée dishes, red meat, oven-roasted or cooked on the grill, and short/mediumly seasoned soft cheeses. Mature cheeses, game, mushrooms,cold cuts, succulent red meat dishes.
