Seven Generations of Quality Maple
The Bascom farm and manufacturing facilities are located on 2,200 acres high in the hills of New Hampshire near the Connecticut River. Our confection plant is located in Brattleboro, Vermont. The Bascom family has a long proud history of producing maple syrup since 1853. For seven generations, the farm has grown to include large maple groves, a major dairy, and other agricultural operations. We have operated commercial syrup production and maple packing facilities for over 40 years.
Bruce Bascom, the company's principal, has devoted his entire career to the maple industry. Bascom staff members are experienced in all aspects of sap harvesting, syrup production, packaging, R&D and distribution. Bruce Bascom and Director of Sales and Marketing, Arnold Coombs, are active in a number of local and national maple product organizations. Arnold Coombs is currently the Chair of the Vermont Maple Industry Council.
