  We can supply various beef cuts, primal and subprimal, chilled or frozen, cut to customer's specifications, IW Vacuum, in carton, polyblock or nakedblock. Our beef is grass-fed beef, sourced mainly from Bucovina, northern of Romania, well known for its long tradition in Cattle raising, in a unique natural environment with nutrient rich pastures and grasslands.

Avastar is a dynamic Meat production company, which is determined to grow responsibly by supplying products to our customers of the highest quality and in the most reliable and professional manner. We are specialized in slaughtering, cutting and packing of beef, benefitting from a new (2011) state-of-the-art slaughterhouse, with a capacity of 150 cattle/day.

We deliver our meat products, fresh or frozen, to various retail, food service and processing markets through our own distribution network, currently reaching more than 50% of the national coverage.  High volume production is accomplished only with a pertinacious focus on food quality and safety, operating a complete ” farm to fork”traceability,  and this  is recognized by our customers and suppliers alike.

The modern slaughterhouse and our highly skilled personnel have enabled us to achieve the highest food safety standards, in accordance with the requirements of the HACCP guidelines, under the present EU directives. We benefit from the following quality management systems: EN ISO 9001/2008, EN ISO 22000/2005 and HALAL; also undergoing BRC certification in July 2013.
