1.Properties

Activated White Clay is milky white powder, odorless, tasteless and non-tonic. It's a kind of adsorbent,which is produced with clay (mainly bentonite), through inorganic acid treatment, water rinsing and drying.

ACTIVATED BLEACHING EARTH is with strong adsorption properties to colored substances and organic substances. It is easily moistened in the air. It may reduce the adsorption if placed long time. However, being heated to more than 300°C will cause the lost of crystal water, and changing the structure and affecting the fading effects.

ACTIVATED BLEACHING EARTH do not dissolve in water, organic solvent and various oils. But it almost dissolves in hot caustic soda and hydrochloric acid.

2.Usage

A	ACTIVATED BLEACHING EARTH is mainly used for animal and vegetable oils, stripping the harmful pigment, phospholipids, saponin, cotton acid from the oil, to make it become high-grade edible oil.
B	In oil industry, it is used for refining,decoloration and purification of oil, grease, paraffin oil, gas oil, kerosene and other minerals, as well as petroleum cracking.
