Krokus is a small family business producing traditional fruits and vegetable preserves. We are located in the central part of Poland in Vistula river region, close to Kazimierski Landscape Park well known in the country for its beautiful countryside and many tourists attractions.
Our main aim is to produce a high quality, traditional Polish products. To achieve this goal we use only fresh locally grown fruits and vegetable, traditional recipes and old technologies, involving a lot of hand work.
We do not use any artificial additives (preservatives, colorings, flavors, concentrates etc).
We are located in the region where climate and soil are favorable for fruit and vegetable growth. Orcharding has traditions dating back to the Middle Ages. First fruits trees nursery in Poland was located in the nearby Benedictine Abbey in Sieciechow. In 1864 Agriculture Institute was founded in Puławy, 15 km from Pajakow. Students from all over the country and the Russian tsar empire were coming here to study. This center of knowledge and learning is still operating in Puławy as a research institute.
Thanks to this tradition we are able to obtain high quality fruits and vegetables and produce goods of outstanding flavor and consistency. We also put a lot of attention to the way our product is packed. Thanks to nice containers it can be used as a gift.
