 Distillery “La chênaie”

The boutique distillery “La chênaie” is the heir and the successor of the wine-cellar created in 1903. As a result of an almost 20-year expertise in the production of wine distillate as a raw material, in 2005 the winery acquired the French technology for production of “La chênaie” trademark brandy, which turned it into an elite boutique distillery of a supreme European type. The distillery is equipped with a modern distillation installation and 225-litre barrels made of oak grown in the StrandzhaMountain in Bulgarian and of different species of French oak, in which the wine distillates used for the production of brandy mature. The distillery has created special blends for the production of VO (very old), ХО (extra old) and VS (very special) brandy. The production process is managed by highly qualified Bulgarian and French technology engineers. A bottling plant was put into operation in 2007. The HACCP and ISO 22000 certification acquired in 2007 guarantee the high quality of the “La chênaie” distillery products.
