The history of Galmopan group starts in 1892, when Ludwig Josiek begins the building of the first Romanian steam factory for pasta, biscuit and breadcrumbs, gifted with German equipment's.

Galmopan group is the largest producer of bread, pastry, biscuits in the south - eastern Romania, with a turnover in 2008 of over 70 million euro.

In October 2007 one of the biggest biscuits factory in Romania is opened producing a superior quality and innovative brands of biscuits respecting the highest European Standards.
