Yield: 5.5 tons/ha
Vinification: The grapes were handpicked in April. They were then subjected to pre-fermentation cold maceration and later to Alcoholic fermentation with select yeasts at a maximum temperature of 28ºC, with pumping over operations three times a day for 8 to 10 days. A complete malolactic fermentation was later conducted with native and select yeasts. The wine was finally aged in barrels for six months.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Deep red with violet hues.
Nose: Black and red plums with a hint of pepper.
Palate: Silky, slightly sweet tannins, with a fruity, round and long lasting finish.
SERVING TIPS
An ideal match for all types of red meats, pork and spit roasted lamb.
Serve at 15ºC to 18ºC.
