Packaging & Shipping

Packing comes in a 50 lb. bag and quality will not be changed for two years if the bag is not opened. If it’s open, it is important to store in an air tight bag/bottle and still can keep the freshness of the sample for two years.

Parent company of Silk Road Cinnamon is Hinidumpattu Plantation Pvt Ltd. It's located in Southern Province of Sri Lanka.

We the current owners represent the third generation of Ceylon cinnamon production.

Our first generation started with acre of Ceylon cinnamon in 1945, and since then cinnamon has always been a huge part of our life. Cinnamon in Sri Lankan language Kurundu, is a very well respected business it requires patient, highly skilled man power, and love of the industry. Today's Ceylon Cinnamon is a combination of the traditional cinnamon plantation and modern hygienic production.

Real Cinnamon is very distinctive and can only be found in Sri Lanka. Our plantation is situated in the Southern Province which is ideal for the best cinnamon cultivation because of the tropical rain forest climate.

The cinnamon we share with you as a sample today carries an incredible proud history. For us to take our story to the United States would not be possible without Cinnamon. From the plantation workers to us the owner, we are all proud that we can offer you an incredible product, which is renownedly known as the real Ceylon cinnamon.
